How To Create & Take an Inventory Cycle Count

 

 

 

 




  • First open the PPS app on the scanner
  • Enter Username and Password to Log in
  • On Main Home Screen select Inventory’
  • On ‘Inventory’ home screen select ‘Cycle by Location’
  • Select the location from the drop down menu to start new count
  • Once location is selected press ‘Start Cycle’
  • Scanner will make a ‘Good Noise’
  • A number will appear on the drop down box middle-left of the screen
  • This is the cycle count number you are using
    1. If using multiple scanners make sure all are on same number
  • A DataGrid will appear at the top
  • Scan boxes to go onto order
    1. Scanner will make ‘Good Noise’ if box is accepted on order
    2. Scanner will make ‘Bad Noise’ if box is not accepted, and reason will appear in red below
  • Once boxes have been scanned they will appear in the data grid
    1. Middle refresh button will update data grid
  • Once all boxes have been scanned press ‘Close’
  • Scanner will give you 2 options
    1. Move all unscanned items to lost location
    2. Leave items as is
  • Select option
  • Scanner will make ‘Good Noise’  & cycle count is now complete
  • To view cycle count on PPS Desktop
    1. Open Inventory from home page
    2. Click ‘Cycle Count’ at top
    3. Select the cycle count number from drop down
    4. Data grid will show Cycle Count information
